#TFEL – #Sorrynotsorry

I have read on many occasion how women need to remove the term “I’m sorry”.  To act more like a man and “ask for forgiveness later.”

I find that because I didn’t grow up in a house with parents who were only business minded or constantly trying to get ahead in life, I was taught it was rude to act in such a way.  Therefore, breaking the habit of saying “I’m sorry” has been quite the task.

While I do agree with the author of this article, saying  “I’m sorry” does put your argument at a disadvantage right from the start, it is interesting to understand why women really say “I’m sorry” all the time….and for different reasons.
